Participants will explore how Copilot Chat works and how it can support everyday tasks and workflows. Through live demonstrations and guided practice, they will learn to design, test, and refine prompts using frameworks such as CLEAR and RISE to ensure clarity, accuracy, and relevance in AI-generated outputs.

The course showcases real-world applications and case studies demonstrating how Copilot Chat can streamline reporting, summarising, research, and analysis. Participants will connect their learning to their own work context, identifying practical ways to integrate Copilot into individual and team workflows.

A key focus will be on using AI responsibly and ethically, with examples addressing data privacy, bias, and the importance of human oversight. By the end of the day, participants will co-create a personalised prompt toolkit and library to support continued application in their workplace.

By the end of the course, participants will have the skills, strategies, and confidence to use Microsoft Copilot Chat productively and responsibly, freeing time for higher-value work and increasing their overall effectiveness.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand how Microsoft Copilot Chat works and how it can support day-to-day tasks and workflows.
  2. Develop effective prompting techniques using frameworks such as CLEAR to structure prompts with clarity, context, and examples.
